Description:
The Ghana Integrated Iron and Steel Development Corporation (GIISDEC) has secured funding from its 2026 budget allocation from the Government of Ghana (GoG) for the development of Mineral Resource Estimation (MRE) using an Integrated Satellite Remote Sensing, Ground Truthing, Field Mapping and Drill-Ready Target Pegging Program on the Adom Banso Block - Concession Sites in Ghana).
The main objective of the assignment is to undertake a comprehensive pre-drilling exploration campaign focusing on multiple elements, especially Iron Ore, Copper, Nickel etc. To eliminate greenfield risk and establish high-confidence drill targets, GIISDEC seeks to adopt satellite remote sensing platform with active field campaigns comprising ground truthing, systematic geological mapping, geochemical sampling, field pegging from the qualified firm, with direct supervisory oversight by GIISDEC.
