The Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC) implemented multiple SAP modules in 2017 as a strategic initiative to optimise operations, enhance efficiency, and support sustainable growth. These implementations were intended to:
automate and integrate business processes; enable consistent data and practices across the Corporation; improve real-time access to information for decision-making; and enhance operational efficiency and internal controls.
The Corporation has decided to review all implemented SAP modules, focusing on system utilisation, process optimisation, and value realisation. This will also facilitate implementation of key audit recommendations raised by the Corporation's internal and external auditors.
